10 new Nissan models in India by 2016
CVT variants of the Micra, Sunny in the pipeline and a compact SUV too.
Japanese carmaker Nissan has revealed its future game plan for the Indian market. The company announced plans to launch around 10 new offerings here by 2016.
First up will be the Micra CVT which will come with the same petrol motor that powers the manual variant. The X-Tronic CVT gearbox will do duty instead of the five-speed manual transmission. The Micra CVT will compete with the likes of the Ritz automatic and Brio automatic.
Next in line will be a version of the Sunny equipped with the X-Tronic CVT gearbox. Expect Nissan to price the Sunny CVT below the badge-engineered Scala CVT. When launched, it is likely to compete with the likes of clutchless versions of the Vento, Rapid, Verna and the City.
The third offering from Nissan will be for the compact SUV segment. This will be Nissan’s spin on the Renault Duster. However, the new SUV (Codename: NH87) will be more than just a re-badged Duster and will have some significant sheet metal changes as well. As seen from the brand hierarchy, we can expect Nissan to price the NH87 below the Duster. It is expected to enter showrooms end of 2013.
Nissan will bring the low-cost Datsun Brand to India in 2014. Autocar India was the first to break the news about Datsun’s comeback in the June 2011 issue. For India, two Datsun hatchbacks are planned, both of which will slot below the Nissan Micra. The first model will be a Rs 4 lakh hatchback (code: K2) based on the two-generations old K11 Nissan Micra. Believed to incredibly spacious for its size, the K2 will feature an all-new ‘top hat’ and will come with a 1.0-litre petrol engine. A cheaper Rs 3 lakh model (code: I2) is also being developed to compete with the Maruti Alto.
Nissan is looking to achieve 10 percent growth by 2016 in India. To achieve this target, the company also plans to increase its on-ground presence to 300 dealers from the current 95 in the country.
Given that the current manufacturing facility of Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd (RNAIPL) at Oragadam, Chennai, has an annual capacity of 400,000 cars and is shared by both Nissan Motor Company and Renault India, it is likely that the Japanese carmaker will either ramp up capacity at the existing facility or establish a new facility to meet its target by 2016.

2014 Nissan 370Z Review - Many cars company launched their new type for 2014 car. Ideally what they do is to satisfy the consumer for new technology that offered. Nissan for 2014 launched 370Z. Whats make this one special. Both vehicle and sports convertible editions are available, and compared with the 350Z that beat it, the 370Z would wear its soft top as beautifully as it does its smooth vehicle spend. An strongly designed nasal area sweeps up and returning into a laid-back windows and short, firm cottage before ending in a fool, snub rear end. The ratios are 50 percent modern wide-track sports vehicle and 50 percent cabin-rearward traditional Z-car.
Engine and Powertrains
Otherwise, the 370Z NISMO goes into the 2014 style year with the same 350-hp 3.7-liter V-6, 19-inch Rays forged-aluminum wheels, stiffened cancellation, NISMO big-brake kit, six-speed keep move, and cannon-sized exhaustion websites as it had last year. To conclusion, the 18-hp difference between the NISMO and the regular 370Z is because of the NISMO’s unique exhaustion system and enhanced ECU.
Interior Design and Special Feature
Last year saw many new functions added to the Zs equipment list, so the lack of up-dates for 2014 is a minimal note. Conventional products include LED day time running lighting, keyless access with push-button key, AM/FM/CD sound with auxiliar feedback, and more. Step up to the Traveling requirements (available on both Vehicle and Roadster models) and youll add leather-appointed warmed and chilled power-adjustable chairs, Bose sound, Wireless connection, and more. A Sport package is available for both base and Traveling Vehicle designs, and Touring-level Roadsters; it contributes 19-inch Radiation made metal metal wheels, stickier Bridgestone Potenza high-performance wheels, improved braking system, and a sticky limited-slip back differential.

| 2012 Nissan Altima |
There are many advantages to owning the 2012 Nissan Altima. Not a lot is new with the Nissan Altima. The 2012 Nissan Altima is available in three trims: 2.5, 2.5 S and 3.5 SR. The upscale 3.5 SR trim adds a sport-tuned suspension, a V6 engine, a sunroof, mirror-mounted turn signal repeaters, dual-zone automatic climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels and heated side mirrors. The Technology package adds digital music storage, a hard-drive navigation system and Bluetooth.
The 2012 Altima is a front-wheel drive vehicle. Two engines are available. All Altima sedans come standard with a continuously variable transmission or CVT. The 2.5 Altima with a CVT transmission has a fuel economy rating of 23 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the freeway and 27 mpg combined; the 3.5 Altima with a CVT has a fuel economy rating of 20/27/23 mpg.
Even without the Technology package, though, the Altima is a nice enough vehicle. In terms of roominess and comfort, the 2012 Nissan Altima fares pretty well. At 15.3 cubic feet, the trunk on the Altima is wonderfully roomy. Coupe versions of the Altima have trunks that offer just 8.2 cubic feet of space.
The 2012 Nissan Altima has fared quite well in government crash tests. It comes standard with traction control, stability control, side curtain airbags that cover rows, antilock brakes and front seat side-impact airbags. All in all, the 2012 Nissan Altima is a very nice car for the money.
The Altima is available as a practical sedan or a sporty coupe. Coupe versions of the Altima are lower and shorter, and feature unique styling that really set them apart from their more serious sedan siblings. Under the hood, both the coupe and sedan share two engine options: a 175-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a 270-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 that comes with the 3.5 SR trim. The Altima sedan features an Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with manual mode, although coupe versions are also available with a six-speed manual for a more engaged driving experience.
For those who like to carry their music with them wherever they go, the Altima can be outfitted with a Music Box hard drive that stores over 9 GB of music.
The 2012 Nissan Altima takes safety seriously with an electronic stability system, antilock brakes, six airbags, and traction control all standard. The NHTSA gave the Altima four-stars overall for its performance in crash tests.
